Testimonials
AdAsia2011 scored high on all aspects that make a conference memorable - Content / Venue + Facilities / Entertainment + Networking / Administration. My congratulations to the Organising Committee. The bar has now been raised and one hopes that future AdAsia organisers will use New Delhi as a benchmark.

- Tanvir Kanji, Head, INCA

“It was a great experience being part of Ad Asia 2011. With global participation, the conference serves to be an effective industry platform. Ad Asia was well executed and garnered good response this year. We wish them success for putting together such large scale conferences in the future.”

- Rahul Johri, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific – South Asia.

"This was my first AdAsia. I so nearly made it to Jaipur from London but was delighted to be an AdAsian virgin. A staggering effort was made by the organisers. Packed content and learning during the day and the evenings had varied entertainment, especially the FABulous show at Kingdom of Dreams. Great to have met up with old friends and I left the event with several new ones. The ambitious pursuit of content filled seminars and sessions was very commendable on the part of the Organisers. Big up to them but I did miss the presence of a few more younger speakers on the stage. In a market like India and with its booming youth population and culture, it could have been oh so valuable for us oldies to sit and listen to the youngsters for atleast one or two sessions.

We got a great response to our Contagious session. In conclusion, well done folks."

- Neeraj Nayar, President, Contagious Communications.

A great learning experience at a truly international conference with an impressive set of speakers. All taking place in a country which I am particularly fond of. I was happy to attend and enjoyed our panel work."

- Mainardo De Nardis, CEO, OMD Worldwide.

“I am extremely impressed by AdAsia 2011. With very strong contents and “super contents” (as coined by Minister Ambika Soni), the conference was not only a congregation of Asia’s best minds in advertising, but also an event where we are immersed in the diversified culture of the whole of Asia. Many congratulations for a huge success to the organizer and the Delhi advertising community.”

- Kitty Lun, Chairman & CEO, Lowe China.

“Would rate AD ASIA 2011 as one of the best international convention in the country in the communication, space over the last 2 to 3 years. The line up of speakers were good and some sessions stood out. Will Samson of Contagious contextualised the challenge for marketers and ad agencies, in the engagement era, beautifully, when he said “remarkable does not mean it is “really good”. It should be about people liking it so much that they would want to remark / comment on it.” In an era where the word social marketing is being misused and everyone is gunning to get a slice of the action, the context of social media and social business was beautifully explained.

The sessions by TED, Joseph Tripodi, Swami Sukhbodananda were equally engaging. I would say AD ASIA has set the right tone for many more conventions in our country that can truly capture the dynamics of an ever-evolving global communication landscape.”

- Arijit Ray, President, Mudra West.

“AdAsia 2011 was definitely worth the wait. It came good for me, for the following reasons: a) a forum that celebrated Indian advertising and finally put India on the world map as a communications market, that needs to be taken seriously, b)a lot of marketer participation, which underlines how keenly they are following evolutions in this space and c) increased focus on integrated, experiential, engagement based strategies which reflect changing times and ecosystems.”

- Anil K Nair, CEO and Managing Partner, Law & Kenneth.

“As a member of the team that supported the pitch India made, it was nice to see AdAsia 2011 actually happen here. JWT CEO Colvyn Harris made the winning presentation, in a white chikan kurta in Seoul, Korea, showcasing the India story in full regalia. The team saw pictures, heard anecdotes of how the meeting went and now we were delegates to the event. It was good to see early thoughts in their finished forum. Also, the dreamed of speakers were really there! Ram Charan, Indra Nooyi etc.. Manganiyaar too were WOW!”

- Shaziya Khan, Executive Planning Director, JWT.
